These two parks give you the chance to get closer to the thundering water. You can find different experience according to the which side border you are on. The view of the falls entirely different depending on the time you’re visiting. Around the April or May, Zambezi is at peak flow. You can see five separate sections are roaring. The five parts of falls are The Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. However, around November which is the height of the dry season, some of them dry up. In Zambia, you can cross the Knife-Edge Bridge which leads to a place like an island in the sky covered by rainforest. When you are going to the rainforest which on each side of Victoria Falls, make sure to bring a poncho and take care of your camera/phone. The mist of the falls can get you wet. Add this to your list of top things to do in Victoria Falls and you won’t regret it.

Bungee Jumping

If extreme activities is your thing, consider to add Bungee Jumping in your activities in Victoria Falls list. The Victoria Falls bungee jumping is one of the most popular activities you can do there. You can do bungee jumping over the Zambezi from the Victoria Falls Bridge on the Zambia side or do a gorge swing into one of the Zambezi gorges (Zimbabwe side). You can get your adrenaline pumping while doing one of them or maybe both. The bungee jumping is most popular in Victoria Falls. You will gain experience of falling from a height of 111 meters. The gorge swing maybe looks scary, but it’s worth to try. The gorge swing can bring you a new and different experience of adrenaline activity, and the cost is cheaper than bungee jumping.

Helicopter rides and microlights

Visiting the falls during the peak flow can be fun. You can fly over the falls with the helicopter and see the water splashing around. Flying with the aircraft when the peak flow is pretty cool but you won’t always get a clear view because of the roiling mist. The second option hovers over the falls with microlight. Microlight is a hang-glider with a small motor attached. You’ll sit behind the pilot, and there are no windows or anything between you and the open air. With microlight, you can see Victoria Falls from a better angle. If you want to see the better views of Victoria Falls, helicopter rides are definitely one of the top things to do in Victoria Falls you would like to remember.
