Fly540 Baggage allowance

Carry-on baggage

Passengers hand luggage must not exceed the dimensions 56x 45×25 cm. There is no official weight on carry-on baggage but it must not be excessively heavy.

Checked baggage

Passengers are allowed 1 x 20kg of checked luggage per person.  Infants who do not occupy their own seats are permitted 1 x 10kg in addition to a collapsible stroller.

Fly540 Flight Booking Online Tips

The airline was founded in 2006 and start flying in November that year with domestic flights between Mombasa and Nairobi with ATR 42 aircraft. In 2007, the airline included extra aircraft and developed new local routes which led to the passengers numbers rising by ninety-three percent by the end of 2008. 2008 saw the airline introduced international routes flights to South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Uganda and Congo.

In 2012, the airline was purchased by FastJet, who wanted to invest and release Africa budget airline with a similar business model as EasyJet.
