Uganda’s capital city is also its largest, recently named the 13th fastest growing city on the planet and home to nearly two million people. This city is a hub for communications, economics and transportation, and easily accessible through an international airport nearby. What’s the weather?

Kampala may be close to the equator, but the temperatures are fairly mild throughout the year. If you’re planning a trip to Kampala, dress for warm weather. The warmest month is January, where temperatures may climb over 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and the coolest month is August, where temperatures may dip down to 60 degrees. If you’re hoping to stay dry, don’t visit in April – this month on average receives the most rainfall.
