• Duration: 7 hours
• Private walking tour: visit maboneng a new trending way of living in the city of Joburg
• Lunch breaks & snacks
• Private tour

Maboneng is new and trendy, it has introduced a global lifestyle and fused it with Joburg's own forever changing funkyness. Music is in the air, choose your favorite street band and let them teach you how to play a couple of musical instruments, our people from Ghana are surely welcoming when it comes to teaching about drums, our street artists will show you how to do stencils on the wall. This is a great way to meet the city.

Get to understand the minds behind the everyday Joburg hustle and what those different hustles are. While walking in the district, feel free to roam around the market place and buy some Ethiopian coffee as well, find some African prints, and paintings by our brothers from Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe, grab a stylish bag or our home made gladiator shoes which are a perfect fit for the summer season; created by one of Maboneng's residential artists. Enjoy the cosmopolitan feel that makes Maboneng a vibrant place to reckon with.

Take a nice safe walk in a place that was once considered, to be one of the most dangerous areas in the city of Johannesburg. Maboneng means a place of light, a name which was given by one of our local tribes who speak the Sesotho language. Explore this artistic district and the subcultural movement that fills up the space with so much life.
