• Day trip to Arusha National Park the national park covers Mount Meru, a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m, in the Arusha Region of north eastern Tanzania
The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River; the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the south-east is grassland. The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying algal colors and are known for their wading birds.

08:00 Pick up from the Hotel in moshi and drive to Arusha National Park – Momella Gate for a Nature walk at the slope of Mount Meru.
Arusha National Park is a gem of varied ecosystems and spectacular views of Mt. Meru, the crater that gives the region its name. The small national park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mt. Meru, the Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that blanket its lower slopes. Game viewing around the Momela Lakes is at a laid-back and quiet pace, and while passing through the forest many visitors stop to search for troupes of rare Colubus monkeys playing in the canopy.
Hot lunch will be served followed by afternoon game viewing in Arusha national park, visiting the Momella lakes and Ngurdoto crater. Late in the afternoon drive back to moshi and drop you off at the Hotel
